Veteran journalist Piers Morgan has mocked Manchester United after their latest defeat.
The Red Devils fell 3-1 at home in the hands of Brighton on Saturday.
Morgan, Cristiano Ronaldo’s ardent fan, has fired a shot at manager Erik Ten Hag.
The veteran broadcaster brought back memories of Ten Hag’s clash with Ronaldo at Old Trafford last year.
He added that the 38-year-old was right about his controversial comments about the Dutchman.
During an interview with Morgan last year Ronaldo explained that he felt betrayed by the club and revealed that he had no respect for Erik Ten Hag.
The Portuguese also took shots at the club’s owners in what could be best described as an all-out rant.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have not shown much signs of improvement since Ronaldo’s departure.
“As woeful United are thrashed at home by Brighton, does ANYONE still doubt that @Cristiano was 100% right about the state of the club and Ten Hag?
“They’ve gotten even worse since Ronaldo left,” the journalist wrote on X.
