Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has provided reasons for his side’s embarrassing defeat to Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday.
A majority of Blues fans were expecting another good result on Saturday but were shocked watching their darling beaten.
Chelsea nearly ran away with all three points against Arsenal last weekend and were expected to build on that especially with their absence in Europe.
However, they were beaten with second half goals from Ethan Pinnock and Bryan Mbeumo.
The Argentine addressed the press after the game and feels his team failed to make good use of their opportunities in front of goal.
“After the first half we should score and we should. If you don’t score you should blame yourself,” Pochettino said.
“We were not clinical. Sometimes you need luck and after for sure the game changed in the second half. We cannot concede this type of goal.”
