EPL: Wenger reveals Ronaldo’s major problem at Man Utd

Ronaldo-Solskjaer

Ex-Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has spoken about one major problem with Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United.

Wenger is of the opinion that Ronaldo’s arrival at Old Trafford, has created a problem for the Red Devils manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

According to the Frenchman, the Portugal captain has upset the balance of the team.

Ronaldo rejoined Man United on transfer deadline day in the summer transfer window from Juventus.

The 36-year-old, who has scored six goals in nine appearances for Man United so far was unable to rescue Solskjaer’s side as they lost 5-0 to Liverpool on Sunday.

“I wouldn’t say it was a mistake, but certainly some emotional impact was in there because he has been a fantastic player,” Wenger was quoted by MEN as saying.

“No, I believe Ronaldo can still score the goals you need. Can he repeat every three games, very high intensity games? That is certainly less the case today but let’s not forget he was the hero three days ago.

“When you buy a player like that, the secret is the balance of the team. To play Ronaldo, he can win you games, but you need to create the balance around him.”
