Cristiano Ronaldo has informed three clubs of his desire to leave Manchester United.

According to The Athletic, they are Bayern Munich, Napoli, and Paris Saint-Germain.

Ronaldo has asked to leave Manchester United after only one season.

While new United manager Erik ten Hag focuses on finding a replacement, Ronaldo and his agent, Jorge Mendes, are scouring the continent for his next destination.

The 37-year-old is incredibly eager to play in the Champions League next season, even though the Red Devils will be in the Europa League.

Bayern, Napoli, and PSG were all made aware of Ronaldo’s situation before it became public, having grown frustrated with United’s lackluster transfer business this summer.

Napoli, the most likely suitor at the moment, have quickly expressed their interest.

While Mendes has informed Bayern of recent developments, PSG is not keen on putting Ronaldo and his eternal rival Lionel Messi on the same team.

Ronaldo has one year left on his £500,000-a-week contract with United.
