EPL: They have signs of champions – Sagna names team to win title

Former France defender, Bacary Sagna, has listed the reasons why Arsenal could win the title this season.

The Gunners are looking to conquer the Premier League for the first time since 2004.

Mikel Arteta’s men currently top the table with 47 points, eight clear of second-placed Manchester City.

When asked if Arsenal can win the title, Sagna said: “They have all the ingredients to be champions.

“Most importantly the way they play. The mentality Arsenal start every game with, the consistency they have and the trust they show in their own play is great.

“They don’t concede many chances and when they do, in Aaron Ramsdale they have a goalkeeper that can stop the other team from scoring. They have all the signs of champions.”

Arsenal’s next league fixture is against in-form Manchester United on Sunday.
