Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has finally reacted to the sack of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager and hailed him as an “outstanding human being”.
Solskjaer was dismissed on Sunday morning, less than 24 hours after the shameful 4-1 defeat to Watford at Vicarage Road.
Ronaldo was Solskjaer’s last signing at Old Trafford and the Portugal captain was one of the few players that stuck by Solskjaer during his final two months at the Theatre of Dreams.
“He’s been my striker when I first came to Old Trafford and he’s been my coach since I came back to Man United.
“But most of all, Ole is an outstanding human being.
“I wish him the best in whatever his life has reserved for him.
“Good luck, my friend. You deserve it,” Ronaldo wrote on Instagram.
