Real Madrid are ready to submit a £100m bid for Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane.
The LaLiga giants have confirmed Karim Benzema is leaving the Bernabeu this summer.
This leaves Real searching for a replacement.
Madrid have a long-term interest in Kane and are ready to launch a bid to lure the 29-year-old to the Spanish capital ahead of next season.
Sources have indicated Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy will quote Madrid a minimum starting price of £100million for Kane once an enquiry lands. There is, though, believed to be room to negotiate.
The second player on Real Madrid’s shortlist to replace Benzema is Chelsea star Kai Havertz.
Benzema’s departure has blown a hole in Real Madrid’s plans for the 2023-24 campaign.
The club had hoped to sign Spain striker Joselu on loan as a deputy for Benzema who had been expected to activate an automatic one-year renewal of his contract.
