EPL: Painful mistake – Jorginho reacts after costing Arsenal win against Tottenham

Arsenal midfielder, Jorginho, has apologized after his error led to the team conceding a second equalizer in the 2-2 draw with Tottenham on Sunday.

Jorginho replaced Declan Rice at the start of the first half with the scores at 1-1.

But after Bukayo Saka’s penalty put the Gunners up, the midfielder was robbed by James Maddion, who teed up Heung-Min Son to make it 2-2.

Writing on Instagram, Jorginho said: “A painful mistake today, but seeing how everyone reacted after my mistake to support and lift me up, my teammates, coaches, staff and you Arsenal fans.

“It gives me even more motivation to work harder and harder, because all of you deserve the best version of myself.

“Thank you so much for the support Arsenal family.”
