EPL: Michael Emenalo to be named Newcastle’s Technical Director

Michael Emenalo is set to be named the new technical director at Newcastle United.

The Nigerian has been negotiating with the new owners at St James’ Park over taking charge.

Emenalo is currently a free agent after leaving AS Monaco last season.

English journalist Pete O’Rourke has reported Emenalo is set to be confirmed as Newcastle technical director.

He wrote: “Newcastle are set to name former Chelsea technical director Michael Emenalo as their new Director of Football.”

Emenalo worked for Chelsea between 2011 and 2017.
