Manchester United midfielder Fred has hinted that he could possibly leave the club in the coming months.
Fred still has a year left in his current deal with the Red Devils.
However, the Brazilian said this summer break would be a time to sit down with the club’s hierarchy and the manager to discuss his future as he appears to be at a crossroads at the club.
Fred joined Manchester United in a staggering £52 million fee from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2018 but the 30-year-old’s time at Old Trafford has been marked with inconsistency.
The Brazilian is hungry for more game time, having only started 12 Premier League games this season.
“I still don’t know, I have to talk with my family. I still have one year left on my contract here. I’ll talk to my staff, to the club and see what everyone’s decision is. I do have to talk with Ten Hag as well.
“I want to be important, I want to help the team, so we’ll see. But I’ve always been and still am very happy at Manchester United.”
