EPL: How Klopp responded to qestion on Caicedo’s transfer to Liverpool after 1-1 draw with Chelsea

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is not certain about the club’s chances of signing Moises Caicedo from Brighton. 

Liverpool tried to hijacked Chelsea’s deal for the Ecuador international last week, but reports in English suggested that that the 21-year-old prefers a move to Stamford Bridge. 

Chelsea are set to make a record offer to Brighton for the player this week.

Klopp was asked if he’s resigned to not signing the Brighton midfielder after his side played out a 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. 

Klopp said, “I can’t say anything about that to be honest, I have no idea.

“It’s ten past seven and I didn’t get a call or whatever… it means I don’t know.”
