John Terry, a Chelsea legend, has disclosed that he turned down three managerial job offers after followers on social media questioned his future in football.

Last year, Terry accepted a part-time position at Chelsea as a coaching consultant to aid in the growth of the team’s talent.

The former assistant manager of Aston Villa took to Instagram on Sunday to reassure fans that he is thrilled to be in the position and to emphasize that he has not been avoiding managerial positions.

Terry wrote on his Instagram stories, “Getting loads of messages regarding me not managing

“I turned down three jobs last year and interviewed for two more that I didn’t get.

“It’s a personal decision that I have come to.

“I have my role at Chelsea that I love and my family time, which means everything to me. And I get time to enjoy myself.”

Throughout his playing career, Terry made 715 appearances for Chelsea, helping the team to win five Premier Leagues, five FA Cups, three League Cups, and a Champions League.
