Manchester United defender Harry Maguire is reluctant to leave the club this summer despite losing his place in the starting XI.

Maguire has lost his place in Erik ten Hag’s side with Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane the manager’s first-choice pairing.

The Dutchman also preferred Victor Lindelof during the final stages of the season with left-back Luke Shaw also selected ahead of the England international on a number of occasions.

Ten Hag recently suggested the defender is not happy with the situation and opened the door for him to leave Old Trafford this summer.

United are thought to be working on a deal to sign Napoli star Kim Min-Jae and could cash in on Maguire to help fund that move with Tottenham among the sides interested in signing the England international.

But talkSPORT report the 30-year-old defender is eager to stay at the Theatre of Dreams and fight for his place.

Reports recently claimed the 30-year-old is in line for an enormous £10million pay-off from United if he leaves the club this summer.
