EPL: Haaland named Premier League Player of the Month for August

Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland, has been named Premier League Player of the Month for August.

Haaland already tops the goalscoring charts in England’s top flight with 10 goals in six games.

The Norway international is four clear of nearest challenger Fulham’s Aleksander Mitrovic.

Haaland needed just four Premier League games to grab his first hat-trick in the competition, scoring three goals in 19 minutes against Crystal Palace.

He promptly repeated that feat in his next outing against Nottingham Forest as Haaland took the match ball home for the second game in a row as City thrashed the Premier League newcomers 6-0.
