Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, made Premier League history on Sunday as his side defeated Sheffield United 2-1.
Guardiola was not present for the game as he is recovering from surgery.
That success was the 200th in Premier League competition that Guardiola has overseen.
The former Barcelona boss has achieved a double-century of victories in just 269 games.
He has become the quickest manager to reach that notable landmark in English top-flight history.
And City were made to work hard for three points in their latest outing against Sheffield United – with Erling Haaland missing a penalty at one stage – but secured a 2-1 victory courtesy of a dramatic late strike from Rodri.
Guardiola will be back on the City bench after the September international break, with his team already the only ones in the 2023-24 Premier League campaign that boast a 100 per cent record through three rounds of fixtures.
