EPL: Chelsea’s summer signing to remain sidelined for 6 weeks

There is currently the fear at Stamford Bridge that summer signing, Romeo Lavia will be sidelined for around six weeks 

The midfielder suffered an ankle injury in training.

Since his move from Southampton to Chelsea in the summer transfer window, the 19-year-old has not played for the Blues.

The Daily Mail reports that the Belgian could be forced to wait until the end of October for his Chelsea debut.

Early indications, according to the report, show that the player has suffered some ligament damage.

However, Chelsea are yet to update fans on Lavia’s fitness.
