Chelsea forward, Cole Palmer, has been hailed for showing ‘arrogance’ against Arsenal in their Premier League clash on Saturday.
The youngster was also commended for stepping forward to take the penalty to open the scoring Chelsea in Saturday’s 2-2 draw against Arsenal.
Palmer played as a false nine for the Blues and caused Arsenal’s centre back line real problems.
He stepped forward after Saliba was penalised for a handball offence and sent David Raya the wrong way.
He argued his right to take the penalty with Raheem Sterling.
And Hasselbaink was pleased to see him with such confidence.
He told Sky Sports, “He’s getting more pressure from his teammates but what he does really well.
“Penalty taking is not easy when the referee blows his whistle he waits he calms everyone down and he breaks the momentum of the goalkeeper and then he takes it.
“For me that is confidence, that for me is having something having some arrogance but that’s allowed.”
