Chelsea will not follow up their interest in Cristiano Ronaldo following talks between manager Thomas Tuchel and co-owner Todd Boehly, according to The Times.
The Manchester United forward had been offered to the Blues during two meetings between Boehly and Jorge Mendes, Ronaldo’s agent.
The 37-year-old is seeking a move to a club competing in next season’s Champions League.
Boehly is working closely with Tuchel over the club’s transfer strategy this summer.
And it is understood Chelsea have now ended their interest in Ronaldo.
