Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has confirmed Bukayo Saka will not link up with England during the international break.
Saka was not included in Arteta’s matchday squad for their 1-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday.
The 22-year-old winger suffered a hamstring strain during their 2-1 defeat at Lens in the Champions League in midweek.
He did not recover enough to face the Premier League champions.
Gareth Southgate selected Saka in his latest England squad in spite of that knock.
But he been informed that Saka will not be available for games against Australia and Italy.
Gunners boss, Mikel Arteta said when asked for an update on Saka: “He hasn’t trained at all in the last two days. He’s not available to play football at the moment.”
