EPL: Arsenal go four points clear at top of the table with 2-1 win over Wolves

Arsenal have opened a four-point gap at the top of the Premier League with a nervy 2-1 win over Wolves on Saturday.

The Gunners came into the game looking to record their fourth successive win at the Emirates.

By the 13th minute, they are two goals up thanks to Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard.

Saka showed persistence to fire past Jose Sa after six minutes, before Odegaard coolly completed a fine team move from the edge of the area seven minutes later.

Arsenal’s failure to kill off the game, allowed Matheus Cunha to pull one back in the 86th minute to set up a tense finish at a freezing Emirates Stadium.

But Mikel Arteta’s men held on for the win, which puts them four points clear of Manchester City – who take on Tottenham tomorrow.
