Former Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle United striker, Michael Owen, has hailed Alex Iwobi, over his goal in Fulham’s 3-2 win over Wolves.
Iwobi netted one of Fulham’s three goals at Craven Cottage on Monday night in a 3-2 win over Wolve.
Alex Iwobi scored in the 7th minute, tucking the ball in from a great cutback by Antonee Robinson.
Wolves fired back through Matheus Cunha, with a well-placed header midway through the first half.
Former Chelsea winger, Willian scored two penalties in the second half to give the home side the win.
Owen said on Premier League Productions that Iwobi showed great technique to score his first league goal for Fulham.
“He did well, we picked him up here, actually coming from the right hand side and ended up taking more of a central position.
“He doesn’t vacate that and he just gets in behind defenders there.
“I love the finish as well, the ball is actually behind him. He starts to move earlier from the right hand side and then finishes it right on the inside left channel.”
