Bournemouth have been boosted by the return of captain Lloyd Kelly.
The centre-back has not featured for the Cherries since injurying his ankle in training in September.
Meanwhile, Kieffer Moore and Dominic Solanke start up front in a bold move from boss Gary O’Neil.
The big news for Chelsea is that Reece James starts for the first time since suffering a knee injury against AC Milan on October 11. Kepa Arrizabalaga also returns in goal, with Edouard Mendy not in the squad.
Denis Zakaria is handed his first minutes in the Premier League alongside Jorginho and Mason Mount in midfield, while Raheem Sterling, Christian Pulisic and Kai Havertz look as though they will form a front three.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Lewis Hall are on the bench, while Mateo Kovacic and Hakim Ziyech – who reached the semi-finals of the World Cup with Croatia and Morocco respectively – are not in the 18-man squad.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek is also absent, but there is a place on the bench for exciting youngster Omari Hutchinson, who signed from Arsenal in the summer.
