Chelsea coach clashes with players ahead of Liverpool's FA Cup final

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel upset his players by bringing them into training on what was supposed to be their day off, according to the UK Sun.

With the FA Cup final against Liverpool coming up this weekend, Tuchel is seeking solutions to break the team’s current slump.

Players are said to be upset about being called in on Sunday because they are fatigued after playing 59 games in all competitions so far this season.

Marcos Alonso, a defender for Wolves, feels he was made a scapegoat and that his effort was questioned by his half-time substitute.

Because of the impending departures of leaders like Cesar Azpilicueta and Antonio Rudiger, the players are beginning to believe their prospects of competing for the Premier League title next season are in peril.

Chelsea is presently in third place in the Premier League rankings, but their recent record suggests that they may lose that position. They lead Arsenal by one point and Tottenham by five points.

The Blues go to relegation-threatened Leeds on Wednesday evening before taking part in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday.
