Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, remained coy over the club’s push to sign Antonio Rudiger from Chelsea after his side’s defeat to Manchester City in the Champions League semi-final first leg.
Ancelotti’s men conceded four times at the Etihad as they lost 4-3 at the Etihad.
Madrid are believed to be in the driving seat to sign Rudiger as a free agent at the end of the season.
Rudiger’s agent has also held talks with Manchester United and Barcelona, but it’s understood that the LaLiga giants have now reached an agreement to sign the 29-year-old.
However, Ancelotti refused to give away much details on Tuesday evening.
When asked about Rudiger’s potential move to Madrid by beIN Sports, Ancelotti asked with a smile: “Who is this?
The Italian then added: “He’s a Chelsea player, he’s still a Chelsea player. I cannot say nothing about this.”
