AC Milan defender, Fikayo Tomori has warned Newcastle United’s side that there would be no friendship when the two clubs meet in the Champions League this midweek.

He specifically told Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali that their friendship will go out the window when they come against each other on Tuesday night.

Tonali left AC Milan for Newcastle United in the summer.

He will be heading back to Italy this evening for the Group Stage meeting with the English side.

“Obviously it will be nice to see him again. We played a lot of games together ” the English defender said during a press conference.

“It will be nice to see him again soon after he leaves, but we are professionals. When the game starts, friendships go out of the window. We want to win.

“After the game, we can start being friends again. During the game, though, we are not friends.”
