Champions League: PSG defeat Real Sociedad, Bayern lose at Lazio

Paris Saint-Germain defeated Real Sociedad 2-0 in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 clash on Wednesday.

Goals from Kylian Mbappe and Barcola gave PSG a healthy advantage ahead of the second leg in Spain.

The Ligue 1 champions weren’t at their best tonight. But they delivered an improved second-half performance and now appear to have one foot in the quarter-finals.

Lazio have beaten Bayern 1-0 thanks to skipper Immobile’s second-half penalty.

Bayern will still fancy themselves to make the quarter-finals, but Tuchel’s side will need to play much better and be more clinical in the return leg in Munich,
