Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, has seen his strike against Barcelona nominated for the UEFA Champions League Goal of the Week.
Osimhen equalized for the Serie A champions in the 1-1 draw at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Wednesday night.
The Super Eagles frontman cancelled out Robert Lewandowski’s opening goal 15 minutes from time.
The goal was the forward’s first in the UEFA Champions League this season.
Osimhen showed good strength to turn Inigo Martinez just inside the penalty area on an Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa through ball and fired in from 14 yards.
Lewandowski, PSV Eindhoven’s Donyell Malen and Porto’s Gelano are the other players in contention for the award.
