Pep Guardiola confirms another huge injury blow for Manchester City

Manchester City have suffered another injury blow following their victory over Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Speaking after the game, manager Pep Guardiola confirmed that midfielder Bernardo Silva has been injured.

He said the Portuguese will miss their game against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday.

Silva left the pitch in the first half of Manchester City’s 3-1 victory over Red Star Belgrade

“He didn’t say anything, I didn’t speak with the doctors but apparently for the next games he will not be available to play,” Guardiola said.

Manchester City’s next game after their meeting with Nottingham Forest would be a Carabao Cup tie against Newcastle United.
