Brentford vs Chelsea: Starting XIs for Saturday’s EPL clash

Brentford make four changes to the side who lost against West Ham on Monday.

Defender Ben Mee is out for the season after fracturing his ankle at West Ham on Monday. Nathan Collins come in to replace him.

Yoane Wissam Vitaly Janelt and Mads Roerslev are the other alterations.

Neal Maupay, Mathias Jensen and Keane Lewis-Potter drop to the bench.

Aaron Hickey, who has not played since October, has had a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury.

Brentford XI: Flekken, Collins, Ajer, Zanka, Reguilon, Janelt, Norgaard, Onyeka, Roerslev, Wissa, Toney.

Substitutes: Strakosha, Maupay, Jensen, Ghoddos, Lewis Potter, Damsgaard, Baptiste, Yarmoliuk, Kim Ji-Soo.

Chelsea make five changes to the side who beat Leeds in the FA Cup in midweek.

Djordje Petrovic, Ben Chilwell, Levi Colwill, Cole Palmer and Conor Gallagher come into the starting eleven.

Robert Sanchez, Alfie Gilchrist, Raheem Sterling, Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke drop to the bench.

Thiago Silva is on the bench after a groin injury alongside Marc Cucurella who passed a late fitness test.

Christopher Nkunku faces a few more weeks out with Benoit Badiashile and Romeo Lavia among those also still sidelined.
