Besiktas have agreed a deal to sign Super Eaglees defender, Chidozie Awaziem, on a loan deal with an option to land him permanently at the end of the campaign, according to Ortacizgi.
The Turkish champions will pay Boavista €600,000 upfront for the loan deal and €4.4 million to keep Awaziem.
Incidentally, Boavista only took up a similar deal to acquire Awaziem from Porto, where he had been since moving to Portugal as a teenager.
Awaziem, on loan from Porto, featured in 27 league games and even captained Boavista on occasions to help the struggling Portuguese club avoid relegation from the Primeira Liga.
He has previously starred for Caykur Rizespor in Turkey during a loan spell in the first half of 2019.
A 20-cap Nigerian international, the 24-year-old has also spent time on loan in the French elite division with Nantes and the Spanish topflight with Leganes.
A versatile defender, Awaziem is capable of playing as a centre-back and fullback.
