Bayern vs Arsenal: Starting XIs for 2023/2024 UCL quarter-final

Four changes to the Bayern Munich side that beat FC Koln on Saturday.

Manuel Neuer, Leon Goretzka, Leroy Sane and Konrad Laimer are back in the starting XI.

Thomas Tuchel has also made an interesting call on the left with Noussair Mazraoui and Raphael Guerreiro both playing in the absence of the suspended Alphonso Davies, as Bayern look to combat the threat of Bukayo Saka.

Thomas Muller has to settle for a place on the bench amongst only nine named substitutes from the hosts.

Mikel Arteta makes one change to the Arsenal side that started the first leg against Bayern last week.

Takehiro Tomiyasu starts at left-back in place of Jakub Kiwior.

It means Kai Havertz starts at centre forward and he is flanked by Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.

Martin Odegaard is fit to start and he plays in a midfield three alongside Declan Rice and Jorginho, who didn’t start in the 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa at the weekend.

From that game on Sunday, Gabriel Jesus, Leandro Trossard and Oleksandr Zinchenko drop down to the bench.
