Ballon d’Or: Ancelotti names player that might not win award

Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has admitted that he is not expecting Toni Kroos to win the Ballon d’Or award.

Kroos has enjoyed another impressive season in midfield for the LaLiga champions.

The German has scored only goal and provided nine assists in all competitions this season.

Also, his Real team-mates Vinicius Jr and Jude Bellingham, are the frontrunners to win this year’s Ballon d’Or.

Ancelotti said: “I’d like to see Toni Kroos winning the Ballon d’Or, but I don’t think he will. But… anything can happen.

“There is Euro 2024 this summer, if he wins Champions League and the Euros with Germany… he could fight for the Ballon d’Or.”
