It’s a big reaction from Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni, who makes five changes from the defeat to Saudi Arabia.
Only Nicolas Otamendi remains in the defence – Nahuel Molina, Christian Romero and Nicolas Tagliafico all drop to the bench.
They are joined by Leandro Parades and Alejandro Gomez, who are also named as substitutes.
Man Utd centre-back Lisandro Martinez comes into the back line with Gonzalo Montiel and Marcos Acuna. Brighton’s Alexis Mac Allister also starts, with Guido Rodriguez completing the changes.
Mexico have also made three changes following their goalless draw against Poland.
Jorge Sanchez, Edson Alvarez and Henry Martin are named among the substitutes, with Nestor Araujo, Kevin Alvarez and Andres Guardado coming in.
Guardado takes the captain’s armband this evening.
