Andy Goram dead: Rangers legend dies after battle with cancer

Andy Goram, a former goalkeeper for Manchester United and Rangers, has passed away.

According to Rangers, Goram passed away after a brief cancer struggle.

The 58-year-old, who also played for Scotland, made 260 appearances for Rangers between 1991 and 1998.

He won two League Cups, three Scottish Cups, and five league championships.

He played for Notts County, Sheffield United, Motherwell for three seasons, Manchester United, Coventry, Queen of the South, and Elgin City in addition to Rangers.

A statement on the Rangers FC website said the club was “deeply saddened to announce the death of our legendary goalkeeper Andy Goram following a short battle with cancer.

“…Funeral details will be communicated in due course.”
