Amaju Pinnick, the chairman of the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, has revealed what the football body is currently doing in this coronavirus lockdown period.
Amaju Pinnick who appeared on Channels Sports stated that the NFF has been spending the time reflecting. He also revealed that ideas are being shared on WhatsApp among its members.
“It has been a time for us to reflect, redirect and refocus. Meditate and do what we believe is right. We have been chatting on our WhatsApp group and ideas are being shared”, he said.
He also revealed the impact the global pandemic has had on the activities of the NFF.
“In Nigeria also we were meant to celebrate the 1999 set of the Super Falcons at our own NFF/AITEO Awards, we are not sure when we can have that program this year. Aiteo one of our major sponsors is even affected by Oil prices slump. We will take some difficult decisions”, he said.
