United have said they are not sweeping the matter under the carpet.
There have been growing calls for United to suspend Antony.
McCoist told talkSPORT, “So, effectively, you’re depriving the man of his work while he’s, at this moment in time, not guilty? I think that’s dangerous territory.
“The allegations are bad, yes, but they’re allegations. I think we’re going down a really dangerous road of people going on public trial.
“You’ve got a court of law that makes these decisions, and that’s the way it’s been for hundreds of years.
“And it now just seems to me that people are making decisions without anybody, a man or a woman, having the right of going to court.”
