Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has hit back at his critics after a week in which his agent Mino Raiola made it clear he wants to leave Old Trafford.
Raiola generated plenty of controversy when he claimed his client’s time with the club was “over” this week and talked up a transfer before his contract expires in the summer of 2022.
Pogba came off the bench and scored against RB Leipzig in midweek, but couldn’t prevent United from crashing out of the Champions League.
He would then start in Saturday’s derby against Man City, which ended in a drab 0-0 draw.
After that game, Pogba broke his silence on his future with a post on Instagram in which he assured Man Utd supporters that he is “1000%” committed to the cause at Old Trafford.
“I’ve always fought and will always fight for Manchester United, my team-mates and the fans,” Pogba said. “Bla bla is not important. The future is far, today is what matters and I am 1000% involved!
“Always strong together.. all has been clear between the club and myself and that will never change. When you don’t know what’s going on inside don’t talk.”
