Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has agreed on a deal to team up with Kano Pillars, ACL Sports reports.
The winger will return to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side ahead of the second stanza of the 2020/2021 campaign.
Musa, 28, has been clubless since leaving Saudi Arabia’s Premier League side Al Nassr in October 2020.
He was also close to signing with English side West Bromwich Albion in January, but the deal fell through due to his wages demand.
The deal with Pillars is expected to be on a short-term basis, as he is expected to seek a new club in Europe when the transfer window opens in the Summer.
Musa has a very good relationship with Kano Pillars after his exploits in the 2009/2010 Nigerian league season when he scored eighteen goals to finish as the league’s top scorer.
