AFCON qualifier: Super Eagles will take six points from Benin, Lesotho – Pinnick

Amaju Pinnick, the president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has assured that the Super Eagles will pick up six points from their final two Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against Benin Republic and Lesotho.
Nigeria lead the Group L table after racking up eight points from four matches.
Benin are in second place with seven points.
“I believe the Eagles will not only win in Porto Novo, but they will also come back and beat Lesotho and still play many more matches in Lagos going forward,” Pinnick said.
The qualification will guarantee Nigeria’s 19th appearance at the Africa Cup of Nations,
The West African nation has won the competition three times, secured second spot (silver) four times and finished third (bronze) eight times in 18 previous participations.
