AC Milan and Juventus join race to sign 23-year-old Chelsea star

AC Milan and Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Christian Pulisic from Chelsea. The American forward has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in order to gain more game time.

According to the Daily Mail, two Serie A clubs are in talks with Chelsea about signing Pulisic. AC Milan and Juventus are both trying to strengthen their attacking lineups and consider the 23-year-old as the ideal candidate.

Pulisic appeared in 22 Premier League games last season, logging 1286 minutes on the field. He was dissatisfied, though, because he only had six goals and two assists in his six games.

Earlier this week, Pulisic told the media that he wanted to play more, but that he was working hard to gain opportunities. He also stated that he is not concerned with the transfer speculations at the moment and is only concerned with the national team. He said:

“As far as right now, I’m obviously just focused on what I’m doing here. And I’m super excited to be here. And yeah, that’s it. Of course, I want to get more playing time. I want to be on the field as much as I can and be the sharpest I can be and fit as well. And I think I still got a lot of games, but it’s always something that I’m working at and trying to be regular at club level as well to put myself in the best position to be fit when I come here with the national team.”
