Abdelrahman Elghadban is an Egyptian professional basketball player. He is now the first player from Egypt to join a club that plays in Liga Endesa.
He has been playing basketball in Egypt since he was a child. He was on the team in the 2021 CVBL season, where the Plateau Warriors won the first-ever championship. He is expected to join MB Andorra in August for his first media day and press conference.
The head coach Ibon Navarro broke silence about the signing of the Egyptian and what this move means for the club next season,
“It’s something that’s been in the works for quite sometime. We need perimeter shooting and he proved in other leagues that he can hit tough shots under pressure. We brought him in for tryouts and he showed up. He never played in a big club like Andorra but he is confident that he will perform and we do as well. That’s why we signed him”
The coach added no comments on who Abdelrahman will replace on the roster. However there’re only two spots available for foreign players on every team. Both Codi and Drew ( The Americans) played great basketball in the past couple of weeks. MB Andorra won games and improved their rankings. They’re far from being a contender for a championship but they’re expected to have a better rank than last year.
