Guinea-Bissau held Sierra Leone to a 2-2 away draw in their second Group A game of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers on Monday, despite having a player sent off.
Guinea-Bissau took a 2-0 lead thanks to Jorginho’s brace in the 49th and 52nd minutes.
Guinea-Bissau were reduced to ten men in the 57th minute after Sana was shown a straight red card.
On 77 minutes, Sierra Leone took advantage of the red card and equalized through Augustus Kargbo.
Sierra Leone completed the comeback with two minutes remaining thanks to Musa Kamara.
Guinea-Bissau now has four points and is in second place in Group A, while Sierra Leone is in third place with only one point.
Guinea-Bissau will visit the Super Eagles in September for their third group game.
The Super Eagles beat So Tomé and Principe 10-0 earlier in the day, with Victor Osimhen scoring four goals.
