When Serbia and Switzerland square off at Stadium 974, they’ll be driven to win and secure a spot in the Round of 16.
Serbia has only collected one point from its first two games and will need to win in order to have a chance of advancing to the Round of 16. However, due to their goal differential of 2, they will need to win with ease in order to have a chance of moving on.
To place second in the group, Switzerland only needs a draw and hopes that Brazil defeats Cameroon. Switzerland, on the other hand, might take first place in the standings if Brazil loses to Cameroon because they have a better goal differential.
Both Serbia and Switzerland will be counting on their star players to deliver. Sergej Milinkovi-Savi and Dusan Tadi of Serbia will be the center of attention, but Granit Xhaka and Xherdan Shaqiri will also be expected to contribute with their wealth of experience.
