Tinubu to unveil Shettima as running mate Wednesday

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, will on Wednesday formally unveil former Borno State Governor, Senator Kashim Shettima, s his running mate.

“All members of the National Executive Committee, Progressives Governors’ Forum, APC Caucus in the National Assembly, Federal Executive Council, diplomatic corps and presidential aspirants at the June 2022 Special National Convention, APC state chairmen, secretaries and organising secretaries are hereby invited to witness this landmark official unveiling of our great party’s vice presidential candidate.”

Meanwhile, Tinubu has reportedly met with the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

Though details of the meeting have not been disclosed, it may not be unconnected to his presidential ambition.

It may also have to do with the Muslim-Muslim Ticket he’s running on.
