The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) says recent intelligence report on the whereabouts of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has vindicated its position that the Nigerian Army abducted him.
In a statement released by its publicity secretary, Emma Powerful, the Nigerian Army should be held responsible if anything happens to Kanu following its invasion of Isiama Afaraukwu in Abia State on September 14, 2017.
The group also stated that the harassment of those who stood surety for their leader is a ploy to make it seem like he jumped bailed.
IPOB, therefore, called on the Federal Government to produce its leader and charge him to court or release him to the British government. Part of the statement stated: “A near derelict naval vessel stationed in the high sea is not a court of law, where guilt and innocence are determined. It remains the exclusive preserve of a court of law.
“The periodic harassment of those who stood surety for Kanu through Justice Binta Nyako’s court, is also a clever ploy to drum the false narrative that our leader jumped bail.”
Just yesterday, Femi Fani-Kayode stated that an intelligence report he got showed that Nnami Kanu is being held on a Naval warship off the coast of Bayelsa.

”Intelligence reports suggest that my friend and brother Nnamdi Kanu is being kept on a Nigerian naval warship far off the coast of Bayelsa and that Buhari intends to keep him there until 2019 and then drop him in the Atantic ocean after “winning” the February election…
…Know this: the incarceration, torture and murder of Nnamdi Kanu will not go unavenged or unpunished. The God of Justice will serve His judgement on all those involved in this sinister, gruesome and homicidal initiative.Buhari will soon know that God rules in the affairs of men.”
