The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, Prof. Kingsley Moghalu, has promised to ensure the retirement of the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate, Atiku Abubakar; and his All Progressives Congress counterpart, Bola Tinubu.

This was after he emerged as the presidential candidate of the party at the primary election held in Abeokuta on Wednesday.

He had jostled for the ticket with founder of Roots Television Nigeria, Dumebi Kachikwu, Dr. Mani Ibrahim, Joyce Nsaka, Dr. Chike Okogwu, Dr Chukwuka Monye, Angela Johnson, Chichi Ojei, Dr. Muhammed Lamido, Bishop Ify-George Oforkansi, Dr. Favour Ayodele, Ebiti Jegede and others.

Speaking after his emergence, as ADC flagbearer, Moghalu promised to make Nigeria better while tackling other presidential candidates.

He said “I am here to offer myself to you not because I am better than anybody here but because I care about the future of our country. I offer myself because God has given me the main recognition to stand side-by-side with Atiku, Tinubu and to send them into retirement.”
