Breaking: Dino Melaye granted bail on grounds of ill-health

Senator Dino Melaye has been granted bail by a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Maitama, Abuja. The sensor is currently being held in a police health facility in Abuja.
Dino Melaye was granted bail by justice Yusuf Halilu on grounda of ill-health after an application by his lawyer, Mike Ozekhome (SAN).
According to Justice Halilu, the Senator must be healthy to stand trial. He went on to state that the senator cannot be arraigned on the stretcher or on his hospital bed. He ordered that he should be allowed on bail to attend to his health.
Dino Melaye is to produce three sureties, one of who must be the Clerk of the National Assembly. The other two sureties must be owners of properties within the Abuja metropolis.
