Not less than 60 million registered voters across Nigeria will today cast their votes in the much-awaited presidential and National Assembly elections.
Although the Senate and the Federal House of Representatives election are important, however, all eyes are on the presidential poll, which many believe will be keenly contested.
There are 72 presidential candidates vying for the highest office in the country, however, it has been argued that the election is largely a battle between the candidates of the two major parties, the ruling All Progressives Congress and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party.
Many believe the presidential election is simply between incumbent Muhammadu Buhari and former vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. Candidates like Kingsley Moghalu, Fela Durotoye, Sowore of Sahara Reporters are considered underdogs.
One thing is sure, It is only Nigerians that can decide today who will lead them to a New Nigeria.
