The building, christened “Music House”, was marked for demolition because some part of it were not approved.

The demolition notice, was pasted on the structure located along Ibadan-Lagos expressway on the order of the Oyo State Government.

The notice gave the owner of the building three days to vacate the building and remove the structure or risk its removal by the government.

The immediate past governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has arrived at the National Assembly for his ministerial screening. Wike arrived at the National Assembly with his wife and some followers. The Senate is expected to screen the first set of President Bola Tinubu's ministerial nominees. The chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was part of the first set of ministerial nominees President Bola Tinubu forwarded to the Senate. During the 2023 February presidential election, Wike turned against PDP's presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and worked for Tinubu. Its widely believed that Wike's nomination was a form of compensation for working for Tinubu. Tinubu last week submitted a 28-nominee ministerial list to the Senate.
