We’re at the mercy of kidnappers in Bauchi- Bogoro council boss laments

The Caretaker Chairman of the Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State LGA, Hon Markus Bitrus, has cried out over the persistent kidnappings in the Council.

Birtrus disclosed this during a visit to an affected community.

He said seven cases of kidnapping for ransom have been recorded in Bogoro in the past two months.

“I am here to alert you on some security issues that have bedevilled our LGA. You could recall that a young lady was recently kidnapped, and a large amount of money was paid before she was released. I want to call on all of us to wake up and be vigilant,” the Chairman stated.
